my favorite crowdfunded projects

The Synek beer tap

I love crowdfunding projects. There's something about finding a cool project and seeing it come to fruition. Over the last year or so, I've funded about 15 projects between Kickstarter and Indigogo.

Here are some of ones that I'm the most excited about:

• A roast,grind, brew, coffee maker
• Synek- Beertap on the counter
• Gustin Jeans

Watchdogs 1st hour of play

I've started playing Watchdogs for PC today. I actually bought physical media surprisingly. It came on 3 dvds and needed all three for the install. A few things that I'd noticed in the first hour of play.

• There aren't difficulty levels.
• It's damn hard to use the keyboard to drive. Might have to buy a controller and hook it up to my PC.
• The graphics requirements are pretty high for it to look really pretty at high res. I had to drop mine down a bit from ultra to make it playable, no big whoop. But then again I was playing Battlefield 3/4 at the highest graphics levels without any issue.
• I'm having issues with the audio but that might be drivers or the fact that I don't reboot. Or the game.

The game itself is pretty fun though. I'm looking forward to seeing how the game unfolds.

More detail to follow.

random observation with Chrome

I just noticed a tweak in Chrome. Not sure if anyone has noticed this, but using a multi-select button e.g. CTRL or SHIFT, you can select multiple tabs and drag the selection to create a new window with all the tabs.
